Replaceable straps for EmeTerm

What is EmeTerm?

EmeTerm is an anti-nausea wristband released and manufactured by the Canadian company WAT Medical. The wristband, which is worn like a watch or bracelet, is not dissimilar to a smartwatch as it not only helps with feelings of nausea but also comes with a touchscreen for timekeeping and health tracking features. 

As of 2025, two different models of EmeTerm have been released: the EmeTerm Smart, and the EmeTerm Fashion, which provide different functionalities. 

How does EmeTerm work?

The EmeTerm uses patented hybrid TENS technology to prevent and relieve various types of nausea without the need for medication. TENS is an acronym that stands for Transcutaneous Electric Nerve Stimulation, and it is a process that sends precise electrical impulses through the median nerve on the wrist, which inhibits the vomiting center in the medulla oblongata. This process helps block signals that lead to stomach muscles contracting and ultimately vomiting. For people who easily experience nausea for various reasons, the EmeTerm is a must-have.
